Key Historical Achievements #
1994
AceGreen’s parent company, Acelon, initiated research and development in Lyocell, setting the foundation for future advancements in cellulose-based fibers.
1996
Secured a patent for a “cellulose solution suitable for high speed spinning method,” marking a significant step in fiber production technology.
2001
Awarded a patent for a method to “reduce the degree of polymerization of the cellulose mucus color and recession,” further enhancing the quality and stability of cellulose fibers.
2004
Recognized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs with grants under the Industrial Technology Development Program for the long-term research and development of Lyocell spun cellulose filaments.
2006
Received additional grants from the Ministry of Economic Affairs for the development of chitosan healthcare cellulose fiber technology, expanding the functional applications of cellulose fibers.
2008
Supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs for the development of wet meltblown nonwoven cellulose-cum-systems technology, broadening the scope of nonwoven material innovation.
2011
Established AceGreen as a subsidiary in Ershui Township, Changhua County, focusing on the production of cellulose fiber filament products.
The “Wet-spray cellulose non-woven-cum-melting system technology development plan” was honored with the 2011 Excellence in Industrial Upgrading Award from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
2012
“Cellulose products of green filaments” received the 2012 Products/Systems Innovation Award from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, recognizing our commitment to sustainable product development.
2013
A patent for the “Method of making natural cellulose fiber with increased anti-mold, anti-bacterial and deodorizing functions” was awarded the 2013 National Invention & Creation Award - Silver Award, highlighting our focus on functional and health-promoting fibers.
2015
Qualified for the International Trade Administration’s customized marketing counselling subsidy. We actively promoted environmentally friendly and functional fiber products at textile exhibitions and introduced our innovations at the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics press conference.
2020
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, AceGreen engaged in the production of surgical masks and melt-blown non-woven materials featuring Nano-zinc (anti-bacterial) and electrostatic electret properties, contributing to public health and safety.
